Nineteen Step and Vahidian
Recovery Program

Since the Baha'i Calendar consists of nineteen days to the month and nineteen
months to the year, aa well as nineteen years to the Vahid and nineteen Vahids to the
Kull-i-Shay,it is "SELF EVIDENT" we need a nineteen step recovery system as well as
A Vahidian Recovery System. Kenneth Keyes has a program of a twelve fold pathway and
the seven spiritual centers. There is also the Ennagram ,which is a mandala consisting of nine people. The nineteen step recovery progam is based on the 19;20
vibrating of Baha'u'llah's Magnificent New World Order. It is also based on the Unity of the Manifestations of God. This idea is "Manifest" from the very beginning,
combining Yasna 30 with Surah 88.The Vahidian Recovery Program is similar to Ira
Progoff's Journal except the Vahidin year is included.The Ennagram is significant in
that it could help pave the way for an understanding of the "Spiritual Assembly" as
well as the "Future Houses of Justice". The Black Muslims also had a six step
recovery system. In a way the Black Muslims and the Baha'i Community have one thing
in common to deal with: they are being scrutinized by the "watchful public."
My experience with the twelve step recovery progam is that it hasn't been very
effective in combating alcoholism. I was working a job and one of my co-workers was
in AA. He had had been enrolled in it for eight years and his drinking problem was
worse than when he started. He said he could identify with step one,however,step two
he couldn't relate to.
What did the authors of the Menok-i-Khrat understand that modern man doesn't?

"All the Adversity and Welfare that come to
Man and other creatures come through the
Seven and the Twelve. The Twelve Signs of
the Zodiac are said to be the Twelve Commanders
on the Side of Ohrmazd and the Seven Planets
are said to be the Seven Commanders on the
Side of Ahriman and the Seven Planets Oppress
all creation and deliver it over to Death and
all manner of Evil,for the Twelve Signs of the
Zodiac and the Seven Planets rule the Fate of the
World and direct it.

There is another Pahlavi Book titled the Denkart.In this book the Religion of
Ohrmazd consists of ONE WORD the MEAN. The Religion of Ahriman consists of two words
"Excess and Deficiency":

The Usefulness of every action and everything is
from the Mean, this Usefulness is spoilt and made
of no effect by Excess and Deficiency.

Ridvan literally means "Reunion with God". How many people celebrating the twelve days of Ridvan? How many celebrate Christmas and how much are alcoholic beverages
conummed. There is a parallel between Ridvan and the "twelve step recovery" for the
twelve step recovery will return the alcoholic to God if he or she is faithful to it. The main promblem being:what Baha'u'llah calls the "Ahrimans Lurking in Ambush."
The coversion of satannic strength into heavenly power must be considered also.
Think about the Bab, the Primal Point of a New Creation and his implemtation
of the Badi Calendar.The Badi Calendar is the Pro Type to the Vahidian Recovery and
Ninteen Step Recovery Programs. Ahriman's and illness share one thing in common. They can get between us and God.
